BrightBridge Connections Festival: Social Media & Tech Workshop

As part of the BrightBridge Connections Festival, the Social Media & Technology Workshop was a 2-hour, hands-on, intergenerational experience focused on digital storytelling and creative technology.

Designed to bridge generations, the workshop invited youth and seniors to explore practical tools for sharing life stories, building personal websites, and creating AI-powered greeting cards. Through guided activities, participants gained confidence using everyday technology while strengthening community connections.

Funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, this community-driven initiative celebrated digital inclusion, creativity, and meaningful intergenerational exchange.
